Miami 2011 Vacation Recap Final
Departure:
The last day in Miami we just chilled out at the house for most of the day and then walked down to the beach early evening to enjoy the beach once last time before we headed home. I love the beach, I just wished there was a way to magically remove all grains of sand from your body and belongings in one magical wave of a wand.
We headed home from the beach to enjoy our last supper in Miami. I love my French dinners: appetizers, wine, dinner, wine, cheese, wine, desert and more wine. Love it. Later that night it stormed but as this house had the great porch, we had dinner and drinks outside surrounded by the roar of the South Floridian rain. It was a great night and great end to a great vacation.
It loved seeing part of my French family again, speaking so much French, watching the kids have a blast and enjoying the ocean. If there is one change... we may come back to Florida in the WINTER next time.

Sounds like a great vacation!! I hear ya on the sand, our pool at our hotel had a sand bottom it was all over our room haha.
Great idea to just take it easy on that last day. Many people book every hour of their time away from home with activity, which, to me, kind of defeats the purpose.
